Susan Vanden Bos, MSW
Susan is passionate about helping people see their light and potential, understanding the mind-body connection in a holistic way, and walking with individuals and families as they work to heal their sense of overwhelm, feelings of being stuck, and disconnection. Susan focuses on person-centered therapy, collaborating with clients in their healing journey and acknowledging their strengths. She creates a safe, empathetic space for her clients as they navigate the challenges of their lives. Safety is a key healing component—from anything to processing relationships to trauma.
Susan has more than a decade of experience working with adolescents, kids, and adults in a non-profit setting and has experience in community mental health where she worked with adults navigating issues like anxiety, depression, addiction, and relational conflicts. Susan is completing her training as a therapist at Jane Addams College of Social Work at UIC.
