Mary Yerex, LSW
I am so glad you are here!
I have been a barista, cashier, teacher, leadership development coach, a pastor, a wife, and I am
also a mom. In each of these roles, I was/am never happier than when listening to a person’s
story. I am curious, and love finding a way to help.
I will help you see and connect with your beauty, worth, and goodness. I am an encourager, a
gentle challenger, and a problem solver engineer.
I have a special place in my heart for moms, college and career young adults, adolescents,
couples, and kids. I would love to explore your story and hopes for the future. Have you lost
yourself along the way? Do you take really good care of the people you love, but are not sure
how to care for yourself? Is it common for you to get the raw end of the deal?
I can help you step into the tricky spaces that have become hard to navigate.
Whatever you are struggling with, let’s give it a try, and see if we can help get you through this
chapter to a happier life and a new you.
I received my Master of Social Work from Aurora University. I interned at Northwestern
Medicine Behavioral Health specializing in treating acute depression, anxiety, and suicidal
thoughts. I am trained in Narrative Focused Trauma Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems.
