Michael Blea, LSW
Understanding the stresses and challenges work, family, school, and other responsibilities can bring to our lives, I am committed to walking with clients to process and develop a plan toward flourishing. My focus is strengths-based with an emphasis on how our critical relationships impact our thinking and actions. I also believe that the trust relationship between therapist and client is paramount to achieving desired outcomes. I will leverage my experience and education to support clients in a safe, secure place, and work together to set realistic objectives to achieve life goals.
I graduated from Aurora University with a Master's Degree in Social Work with concentrations in childwelfare and faith-based studies. I’m a native of California and received my Bachelor's Degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Prior to Be Well Counseling & Wellness, I led groups and conducted private therapy sessions with at-risk boys at Agape House in Walworth, Wisconsin.
