Michael Blea, MSW
Understanding the stresses and challenges work, family, school, and other responsibilities can bring to our lives, I am committed to walking with clients to process and develop a plan toward flourishing. My focus is strengths-based, and I believe that the trust relationship between therapist and client is paramount to achieving desired outcomes. I will leverage my experience and education to support clients in a safe, secure place, and work together to set realistic objectives to achieve life goals.
Currently, I am in my final year at Aurora University in the Master of Social Work program with a concentration in faith-based social work. I’m a native of California and graduated with honors from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Prior to Be Well Counseling & Wellness, I worked with at-risk boys at Agape House in Wisconsin. During my time at Agape House, I led groups and supported individuals as they progress in healing from past trauma and helped them set life goals moving forward.
